Advanced MC Tech

My Advanced MC Tech class which consists of a hybrid of 6th-8th graders are becoming a self-sufficient collaborative group. I have them working simultaneously on two projects: scripting their own video game and creating a podcast on food in another language. The project has been quite entertaining as each student chose a language to create a food podcast of their favorite foods. With about 30 students, we will hopefully have 30 different food podcasts in languages varying from Mandarin, to Swahili, to Brazilian Portuguese. My only request was that they represent coffee and mangoes in their chosen language. Two of my favorite delicacies. They are using Microsoft PowerPoint to create the image slides, which will be imported into Garageband to finish the podcast.
